Long-haul truck drivers spend hours in isolation, often pushing through fatigue in environments that are physically taxing and mentally draining. While the shift to electric freight has improved the driving experience by reducing noise, vibration, and pollution, the moments in between driving, such as charging stops, remain underutilized as opportunities for true recovery.
So Einride set out to change that. With beautifully designed charging stations and driver lounges that feel more like home, Einride is turning charging stops into places that don’t just recharge trucks, but the people driving them too.

To bring this idea to life, Einride is releasing music scientifically designed to help truck drivers recover, reset, and re-energize while their trucks do the same.
IDEA / INNOVATION
Einride transforms its charging stations into holistic recharging hubs by introducing scientifically engineered music in partnership with HealthTunes. As trucks power up, drivers are invited to do the same—through curated audio experiences designed to reduce stress, increase focus, and promote recovery. By integrating binaural beats into thoughtfully designed rest environments—complete with kitchens, showers, and lounges—Einride redefines downtime as an active moment of restoration. The initiative turns every charging stop into a dual recharge: one for the truck, and one for the human behind the wheel, bringing the company’s driver-first philosophy to life in a tangible, sensory way.
A PARTNERSHIP WITH HEALTH TUNES
The album was created in partnership with HealthTunes, a California-based non-profit specializing in scientifically designed music and sound to support physical and mental wellbeing.
The collaboration brought together HealthTunes’ expertise in therapeutic audio with contributions from renowned artists, including Moby, creating a collection of tracks designed to support relaxation, focus, and recovery.
FROM STATIONS TO STREAMING PLATFORMS
The music was released across major streaming platforms and made available throughout Einride’s charging network. To bring the experience directly to drivers, every Einride driver received a miniature CD featuring an embedded RFID chip that connected them straight to the music with a simple tap.
